Shelley Moana Hiha


Qualifications:

  • Certificate Programme Leader/Tutor NZ College of Massage

Shelley Moana has a Diploma in Clinical Massage and Sports Therapy and Diploma in Therapeutic Massage from the NZ College of Massage. She is also a Reiki Master and has a Diploma in Intuitive Vibrational Healing and Certificates in Natural Healthcare and Holitstic Healthcare. Her Coaching qualifications include Olympic Solidarity one of the top courses available to New Zealand Hockey Coaches.

Shelley spent 5 years locuming (looking after clinics for other therapists) and worked from various Health Clinics during this time. She has been massaging at the Millennium Institute of Health since 2003.

Originally from the sunny Hawke’s Bay, Shelley has been living in Auckland since 2001 however will always be a Bay girl at heart with her family still living in Napier.

Shelley has a lifelong passion with sport and has worked with Elite Sportspeople as a Coach, Mentor and Therapist for over 20 years. Her other passion is education, fulfilling this by passing on knowledge to her clients and students who she teaches at the New Zealand College of Massage.

Shelley has worked in massage with many athletes individually, teams and at events such as; NZ Breakers, Black Sticks, NZ Sevens, All Blacks, Silver Ferns, Irish Men’s Hockey Team, UK Men’s Hockey Team, Australian Women’s Cricket and many more. Shelley has been part of the Medical team for the ASB Classic WTA since 2007.

Tania Kahika

Qualifications:

  • Foote – Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy

Tania has a diploma in Therapeutic Massage from the NZ College of Massage.

She spent a year in Wellington working at a couple of health clinics before returning to Auckland to work at the Millennium Institute of Sport and Health in 2006.

Originally from the beautiful Eastern Bay of Plenty, Tania has been living on Auckland’s North Shore for the past couple of years, (but not quite long enough to be considered a “Shorite” just yet!!)

Tania absolutely loves working with the body and sharing that passion and knowledge with her clients. She has worked with many athletes and teams including North Harbour Rugby, The Burger King NZ Breakers, NZ Triathelete’s, Iron women, and NZ Motocross Squads. She has been part of the Massage/Medical team for the Taupo Ironman since 2004.

A highlight of her career was the opportunity to go to the 2009 World Ironman Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

Tania is a carded provider for the NZ Academy of Sport and would be delighted to share her knowledge and professional skills with you.
